Thanksgiving Giveaway 2010!

Wow, has it been a year already? Last year, I did a Thanksgiving giveaway, and the little did I know, it turned out to be a very special event. The rule for this giveaway is to let us know "what you are grateful for", instead of a regular comment. Reading all of the comments made me realize how blessed we are in many different ways.

So, I decided to do the Thanksgiving Giveaway again this year!
I have three prizes... are you ready?

Prize 1, Remember this? Multipurpose necklace, it is very versatile and fun.

Prize 2 is a basket handbag with lace trim. The three flowers are individual corsages that come off, and can be used as a hair clip too.

AND, prize 3... The one awesome prize from my awesome sponsor M&J Trimming...$50 gift certificate for their online store!! Isn't it so exciting? Thank you M&J, you are the best!

Ok, here are the rules for the giveaway;

1. Since this is a "Thanksgiving Giveaway" instead of leaving regular comments, let me know what you are thankful for. This is sort of a pre-Thanksgiving party at Tea Rose Home! I would love to read what people are thankful for, it will remind me of what kind of blessings we have in our daily lives and I bet it will lift up others' spirits too!

For an extra entry do one of the following, for two extra entries do both of the following:

1. Follow me! I would love to see your friendly faces on my side bar!

2. Blog about this giveaway on your blog and come back to let me know.

When you do all those things, you will be entered three times. I will keep this giveaway open until midnight of the 24th. I can't wait to read all your "thankful lists", it will be fun!

I am thankful for the blessings God sends down each day. I live in a free country where I am blessed with a wonderful husband and two of the sweetest children on this Earth. We are all healthy and surrounded by family and friends who care for us and about us. We have a loving God who watches over us and loves us. And I have the awesome job of being a stay-at-home Mom so that I get the best of it all. I volunteer at my old job (teaching) in my children's classrooms, have time to craft and sew, take care of my family and be with the people I love the most. I have too much to be thankful for!!

I'm thankful to be homeschooled, to have friends who I know would do anything for me, and love me so very much. I'm blessed to have two parents who love me, and two siblings, Jeffrey, and Emily. Emily is healthy which is such a blessing (because she's 7 1/2 months old).
I'm so very thankful to have food on the table every single night, a family to celebrate holidays with, and a free country to honor and worship my Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ, when so many other countries are not free to do that.
I'm thankful to have acess to a computer where I can blog all I want, and not having to share a room. The list could go on and on, because I know my Lord has blessed me tremendously, but I will leave it at that for now.
Happy Thanksgiving!

This year I am most thankful for my family. My husband and I are expecting our first child in February and my family has been so very supportive. We will not have to worry about anything, even child care!! I really don't think we would be able to make it with out them.

And I am thankful for the ocean, my older sister, Jesus Christ, novels, my parents, being homeschooled, duct tape, tiny babies, huge paintings, each of the many places I've lived, the Eiffel Tower, squishy pillows, the creators of Robin Hood and Merlin, writing, photography, and volleyball.

I am thankful that my salvation is based on Jesus and his sacrifice, not my efforts to attain holiness. I am also thankful that God gives me gifts and talents to use for his glory and my fun!! I have been especially blessed by a God fearing husband,(thk u Jesus for this) and for two children that keep me on my knees. My cup runs over!

I'm thankful for my 5 children. It's unbelievable that at one time I was told that children would never happen for me. First two daughters came along (one with spina bifida) and then we got brave and tried again. Twin boys!!!! And then we decided to adopt a girl with special-needs. Four months later she was home with us. Here we are a year later and our family is complete! Yes we are an unusual family- 5 kids, two with special-needs and a set of identical twins in the mix but life is GOOD. We are so blessed to have a home filled with joy and laughter. Life is never dull!!!

Hi..Happy Thanksgiving to you!I just became a follower of your blog, and I am so excited to try making these beautiful t-shirts for myself and my girls! It's hard for some people to see gratitude in tragdies...but honestly..it the hard times that bring you and your family closer to Heavenly Father. My Sweet Father just passed away two months ago after a very short illness. While he was sick, my husband was laid off from his job of 13 1/2 years. It's been almost too much to bear at times...yet I feel nothing but gratitude. My father didn't suffer..he was in no pain and passed peaceful. My husband has been able to be there for me, and we are closer than ever. Our whole family has gotten closer, and I have learned to rely on The Lord more than ever. It has really strengthened my realtionship with Him...and for this..and the many blessings of love, peace and friendship that have been bestowed upon me and my family...I am truly grateful..:)

I am trhankful for my husband that heavenly father sent me. during our marriage, I am going blind and deaf and he stuck by me when this is all happening. even though it is getting worse he is still there by my side. I walk with a sight cane and wear hearing aides, but I don't let that stop me fr0om doing what I need to do to take care of both of us. most husbands would have left at the beginning but he didn't and he will be there when I can no longer see him or hear him. that is what I am thankful for my husband.
